Tool for reporting on CO2 with Science Based Targets
The Envirometer allows you to measure and report your CO2 emissions if you want to participate in the Science Based Targets (SBT) initiative. SBT is a global system by which companies commit to CO2 reduction targets that are in line with the Paris Climate Agreement, namely to global warming of a maximum of 1.5 degrees. Participating companies annually report on their progress relative to their science-based targets.
The Envirometer allows you to easily calculate your carbon footprint in the base year, set your reduction target for 2030 and annually report on your progress with clear graphs.
Calculate your CO2 footprint in the base year
Determine the carbon footprint for the base year according to GHG standards.
In the Envirometer you can create calculations for an unlimited number of years. You can display the CO2 footprint in the scope classification in accordance with the Green House Gas protocol.
Visualise your targets
Link your science-based target to the calculated CO2 emissions, for example 50% CO2 reduction in 2030 compared to the 2018 base year. The Envirometer displays your reduction target in a target graph. The score you have achieved relative to your goal is displayed for every year that you fill in the Envirometer.
Publish your results annually
The Envirometer offers several options to publish your progress:
- download single graphics in pdf, png or html formats for inclusion in your report or on your webpage
- download a pdf report with a selection of graphs
- publish your CO2 emissions in the list of public Carbon footprints
